Located at Clarion Hotel & Convention Makassar, the seminar and workshops are held in three consecutive days, from 24 to 26 March 2010.

Seminar on the first day opened by the Dean of Technics Faculty of Hasanuddin University. The IEEE Communications Society Indonesia Chapter sent three representatives as key speakers for the seminar: Dr Irwan Prasetya Gunawan, Muhammad Ary Murti, and FX Ari Wibowo (Vice Chair of Comsoc Indonesia Chapter). Themes of the seminar are the technology, network, and the business potency of Digital Television.

As we have known, since last year, the Comsoc Chapter had conducted a seminar series on 4G Mobile Technologies. While still running it, now the Chapter starts another series in parallel. Today the Chapter carried out a seminar in the new series: Digital TV Technologies.

As the previous series, this one also commenced in Bandung, today. This seminar was conducted in the Hotel Nalendra, Cihampelas. The participants who attended the seminar today include Mrs. Koesmarihati of Mastel (previously, she was Telkom’s Director of Development, CEO of Telkomsel, and Chairperson of BRTI), some Heads of Department and officials from Universities (Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Ahmad Yani, Maranatha University, ITENAS, IT Telkom), the representatives of the operators & providers (Telkom, XL Axiata, DAAITV, Nasio), and several other professionals.
